Electronic music is music made in a sequencer witch controles
different electronic equipment like analogous synthesisers or 
samplers. Because of the sequencer the musician no longer have
to wory about playing the different instruments because that
does the sequencer. The musician is then able to concentrate
on the music, an develop it futher on. This is one of the
resons why electronic music today is so variated. An other 
reson is that the musician no longer have to be able to play an 
instrument, witch means that nearly every person can make 
electronic music. So electronic music is indeed the music made
by normal people, freed from eny rules and stupid old
conservative producers.
You dont need an 1 million dollar studio to produce electronic
music; the only thing you need to get started is a computer,
with a tracker and some good samples. 

NB: electronic music will often sound wird and even bad the
first time you hear it, but dont get confused by that, 
because all electronic music has to be heard more than once
before you like it, otherwise it would be pop.!
