Technic: All the tracks on this record have been made and
recorded with the same technic.
In SoundStudio the synth (mam303-II) was sequenced via
an midi interface. Soundstudio was allso used to
sequence all the drums and other instruments, witch
infact is ordinary 8 bit samples. The sound signal
from the Mam303 (witch is an copy of an TB303) was then
mixed with the sound signal from the right amiga channel.!
This mixed signal was then passed through the effect processor
(ToneWorks korg, accually an guitar processor!), witch added
echo, flanger, pitch, reverb, compressing and other
things to the signal. The other signal from the left amiga
channel didden go through this sound processor, witch means
that it was possible to deside how much echo or reverb each
track in soundstudio should have. This is ofcoz done by
setting the panning (left/right) of each track!!
In the end the track was recorded by a PC.
comment: Finally the Naked ears project is ready with a brand new
trance album. The album starts with 3 more or less slow
trance like tracks, witch mainly is based on the
Mam303 synth and ofcoz a lot of drums. The fourth track
is a bit faster, and is a kind of acidtrance, where the
only instrument is the Mam303 synth. After this, comes
3 goa tracks, featuring more instruments, and nice
psychedelic themes. The next 2 tracks changes the style
from goa to more ordinary trance, and kicks the tempo
a bit down. Finally the album ends with a nice hard acid
track witch is a bonus track. |
