PC users: I carnt play Octamed modules (extract *.med)
Most of the 4 channel tracker modules you'll finde on this site is octaMED moduls. This is an old AMIGA format, but that dosent mean that you carnt play the moduls on a PC.
The player that we recormend is the modplug player. It can play a number of different tracker formats, including MED modules. It's easy to use, and it's a freeware player (You dont have to pay enything to use the player!)

If you have a copy of winamp (the famous mp3 player) you can allso use this, to play MED modules. You'll just need a special plug-in, witch you can downloade at the Octamed home-page..

Finally it's allso possible to play the modules in an player made by Octamed. Ofcoz this player can only play octamed modules!.

If you dont like players, or you want to rip the sampels (who would do that?), it's allso possible to get tracker program's.

Amiga Users: I carnt play Octamed modules (extract *.med)

If you are so lucky to have an amiga, you should'nt have eny problems with the format. Ofcoz the best thing is to play it directly from octamed 4, but if you don't want to do that we recormend hippoplayer. You can allso use delitracker or eagle player but they don't play the modules correct (well in some cases!)

You can allso use Octamed soundstudio to play the modules. Just keep in mind that Octamed soundstudio has an minor tempo bug if you convert the 4'ch modules into multitracker modules (if you use 64'ch mixing). You will only hear this bug if the module consist of long beat samples!.

Well Soundstudio modules can be played in the OctaMED plug-in for winamp, or by the player that SoundStudio has made for PC.

As fare as I know there is only one player that can play SoundStudio modules on amige.. That is ofcoz Hippoplayer, with AHI installed..

The protracker format is the most commenly used format in the 4 channel tracker scene. Therefore it should not be eny problem to play this kind of moduls on a PC. Fasttracker modules is a new multitracker version of the old protracker format. Ofcoz it's not the same, but it still builds on the same principles.
We recormend the modplug player, but you can allso use cubic player, mod4win and yes even Winamp.

Well protracker and fasttracker II modules can be played through allmost eny kind of player today. Just keep in mind that fasttracker is a multi channel format, and therefore often requires that you have an 14 bit mix'er engine installed.!

Digibooster is a new multi tracker program, witch basicly build apon protracker idears. Besides this the program allso contains DSP effects, and a handy 303 tracker, witch makes the program unique and special.
We recormend that you use hippoplayer to replay the tracks, but you can allso use other players. Remember that this program needs to have AHI installed to funktion.

PC users: I carnt play Rebirth modules (extract *.RBS)
Rebirth 388 is not a tracker, but a kind of software synth; witch emulates an tr808, 2 tb303 and a lot of other things. There dosent exsist eny player for rebirth modules (yet), so you have to have a copy of Rebirth 388 v1.5 or v2.0, to hear the modules. Because rebirth 388 is an emulator it ofcoz needs a fast processor at about 100 MHz, an 16 bit soundcard and win95. Unfortunetly this program only excist on PC and MAC.

PC users: I carnt play mp3 modules: (extract *.MP3 or *.MPG)
mp3 modules consist of 16 bit sound samples, witch is packed in a special way..
this is why; you'll need a fast computer to play these modules..

We recormend that you'll play them in winamp, but there are other alternatives.

NB: Many of the MP3 on this size has been renamed to .MPG..
This means that winamp carnt directly play the tracks. So you have to rename them with the extension MP3.. The reasson for this inconvenience is that Aminet dont alow the extension MP3...
Pc users: I carnt unpack LHA archives (*.lha)
All of the tracker modules you can downloade here is packed in the format known as LHA. This is ofcoz an AMIGA format, but again that dosent mean that an PC carnt unpack the archive. In the new version of WinZip, it is possible to unpack the music files; you just have to remember to set the file parameters on: All files.

We therefore dont recormmend winzip but instead a real LHA unpacker witch you can downloade at this addresse.
