Loonies records is a russian/danish net-label formed 
in June 97 Copenhagen.


We believe that:
 - music is to be free off all commercial interests.
 - Only a non-profit way off making music can give it the real
   eksperimenting sound. 
 - When Music is free it has no boundaries.
 - The world no longer can resist the influens of the internet, 
   and therefore the music will become free.     
 - To make music is a way to re-experience life, form the 
   beginning to the end.


That is why we release our music from this site; where 
everybody freely can downloade it. 

We mainly release electronic music like: 
 - Psychedelic trance (goa), Hardtrance, Acidtrance 
 - Techno, minimalism, detroit
 - House
 - Jungle
 - Ambient

In the summer of 97; Tarmslyng and Psycho got the idea to make
an cd with just one song. This song was to be the infamous chip
tune by Coma/3le named: Take on me. The cd was thought as a 
present for Depth (an demo group), who liked to play the song 
for hours at parties. The Cd, ofcoz had to be released on a 
real label, so we made our own label, witch got the name 
Loonies Records. At first this was just a crazy idea, but that
was soon to change, when Tarmslyng got the idea to make an 
record consisting of modules. So the label was changed from a
fun label to a serious one, and therefor a sub-label was 
formed called Livitas Records, where all kinds of funny music 
could be releasted.

If you want to release a singel, Ep or even a Record on 
Loonies Records you are welcome to send it to us. If the
tracks are of an acceptable standard it will be releasted.
You can send us tracks in following formats:
 - MED (octamed)
 - SS1 (octamed soundstudio)
 - MOD (protracker)
 - XM  (fasttracker II)
 - RBS (rebirth v1.5 or 2.0)
 - MP3 (16 bit sampels)
Other mods produced in digibooster, screamtracker, or
impulstracker are orlso welcome.
All tracker modules will be LHA packed and uploaded to aminet
(one of the worlds larges mod-archives). MP3 files will
allso be uploaded to aminet.
