Name: The name is a crossover between a demo by GFB
(GunnarsFarveBio) called "1000 naked ears" and an
swedish demo group called "the elephant club" =>
"The 1000 naked ears psychedelic elephant project"
History: The project originaly started as a Club:
"De 1000 nøgne ørers psychedeliske elefant klub".
There wasent really eny members of this club
except ofcoz Tarmslyng and some birds. The concept
with the club was to carry a really big loud-speaker
around, on the back, in the inner city, dressed in a
space-suit, playing psychedelic music an other kinds
of electronic music. This idea came from Tarmslyng
and his newly found interest for psychedelic trance.
This interest delveloped when he got holde of a module
called "Armanis Dream" made by Dreamfish/mono, and he
got inspired to make an similar minimalistic module
called "My friend Sofus". After this the productivity
of techno and trance grew, witch led to the record
called: A mushroom in my ear. Shortly after this the
project was formed and signed to Loonies Records.
Concept: To prove that you can make electronic music on a
low budget, without expencive equipment.
Styles: Goa, Hardtrance, Trance, techno, minimalism, jungle and
psychoactive ambient music. |
